Serena Holguin
Serena Holguin is a program coordinator, health education expert, and training specialist with over nine years of experience in curriculum development. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology with departmental Honors, from the University of Texas-El Paso, and her Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Health Education, from California State University Northridge.  Serena has created a sexual health curriculum for the city of El Paso, TX and has experience in teen pregnancy and HIV prevention.  She is currently in the process of becoming a certified Trainer in order to bring her talents and experience to corporate trainings.  For Focal Point Global, Serena is creating a cultural competent HIV prevention curriculum for Namibia and The Gambia utilizing cultural norms and peer to peer mentoring.
